Exercise Log 4.8.14 (Arm Day, No Cardio)

Today was arm day, going to keep the log short and sweet just for record’s sake. Got like 3 logs to type up, busy week.

First, biceps:

Bicep Curls: 5 sets 5 reps @ 80

Concentration Curls w/Forced Negatives: 5 sets of 6 reps @ 40lbs (forced neg. last 2-3 reps)

Chin-ups: 4 sets of 8 reps

Hammer Curls: 5 sets of 8 reps @ 30lbs

Overhand Grip Curls: 3 sets of 8 reps @ 50lbs.

Perhaps it was my focus, but I didn’t feel a good bicep pump after this. I’ll hopefully get a better shot next time. Next up, triceps…

Close Grip Bench Press: 3 sets of 10 reps @ 105lbs.

Dumbbell Tricep Overhead Extensions: 4 sets of 6 reps @ 60lbs.

French Press: 4 sets of 10 reps @ 50lbs.

Rope Cable Tricep Extensions: 4 sets of 6 reps @ 100lbs. Did a slight cheating hip dip to start and focused with slow negatives, liked this effect.

Triceps definitely had an alright work out but today was just kind of flat day. Will hope for a better arm day next time.
