Exercise Log 11.26.13 (Arm Day, No Cardio)

I actually go back and read a considerable amount of these logs so the excessive verbiage isn’t all to waste, but I hope people like seeing the updates however mundane they are. Today was arm day and I managed to get in what I felt was a pretty good warm workout. Again I’m trying to keep my workout days a little trimmer, and this was a “before work” workout which is very hard for me to generally crank out. I’m just not a morning person.

Anyways, got in got warmups done and went straight to my typical superset routine of bicep/triceps. First did some 21’s superset with french presses (50lbs, 3 sets), then forced negative curls superset with overhead tricep dumbbell extensions (4 sets, 6 reps bicep curls with forced negatives, 12 reps tricep extension), regular bicep curls with a heavier bar (60lbs) superset with hip tricep extensions (3 sets), overhand grip curls on a bosu ball superset with overhead tricep extensions while still on the bosu ball (40lb weight, 3 sets, 12 reps). That exercise is a fun one because you get to work all your stabilizers plus work on form. Lastly I went with some chin ups superset with dips (7 reps, 4 sets) and finally at the suspension machine did tricep pulldowns with a rope handle superset with bicep curls pulling upward with a small curl grip.

So in other words I did a lot of curls. Could’ve just said that to start and saved myself the writeup. I did skip cardio but I got in a thorough round of stretches which is something I often neglect and even though I maybe did 10 minutes I felt really good about it after.
