Exercise Log 7.27.14 (Deadlift & Front Squat Day, No Cardio)
Alright, finally starting cycle 5 with Deadlift & Front Squat Day. This training cycle is a lot of pause reps, lower levels of momentum and slower actions – higher intensity.
Pause Deadlifts: 3 sets of 5 reps @ 230lbs. Climbing 2’s (dual reps of weights increasing 5%): 2 @ 245lbs. 2 @ 260lbs. 2 @ 280lbs. 2 @ 295lbs. Failed at 310lbs.
Normally I’d do the secondary lift here, but the weight floor was a little busy which was the first time in a while, so I decided to do an accessory first.
1-Armed Dumbbell Rows: 3 sets of 9 reps ea. @ 60lbs. Very slow, no momentum.
Pause Front Squats: 2 sets of 8 reps @ 115lbs. Bonus round of reps with pauses to failure of 12 reps @ 115lbs.
Pendlay Rows: 3 sets of 8 reps @ 135lbs.
We are definied by our Muses...
- And now I shall say nothing myself, but shall endeavour to elicit something...

Socialism WORKS!
Socialism WORKS! is a short website presentation I put together years ago with help from a friend. It is something of a snarky take on Socialism, critical of the advantages of Socialism from various origins of the idea.
